Sponge Bath
$6
If you need to have a lumpectomy or mastectomy, you should avoid standing directly under the showerhead for a couple weeks after surgery. Remember that dry shampoo is your friend, and the shower doesn’t have to be running for you to sing. For now, a sponge bath is a good alternative to stay clean through this transition.
"The first thing you'll want to do after getting home is wash away that icky hospital smell! While you're healing, your range of motion will be restricted, so ask a loved one to help get those hard to reach places. This is also a great tool for gently removing the sticky tape residue and iodine left behind after surgery.”
